WELLNESS EVENTS

LIVEwell offers a wide variety of wellness events to support City employees in reaching their personal wellness goals! These activities can range from learning tips for managing stress, getting better sleep, and encouraging mindful eating habits. There are also fun challenges throughout the year like our Fall Fitness Challenge and the January Step Challenge (our most popular one)!

Stay engaged. Stay well.

Participate in LIVEwell classes throughout the month to earn raffle entries for a chance to win $30 Rewards Cash credited to your Personify Health account.

How it works

  • Attend a LIVEwell Zoom class, onsite session, or the virtual cooking class.
  • Each completed session equals one raffle entry.
  • Limit: 10 total entries per person, per month.

Registration is required for each class. Attendance is only counted if you are fully registered and remain for the FULL session.

Weekly classes include

Pilates, Tai Chi, Barre, Beginner Zumba, Cardio Kickboxing, Hip-Hop Dance Fusion, Meditation, Functional Fitness, Yoga, Strength, Core Conditioning, Stretching, Circuit Training

Special bonus: The Virtual Cooking Class counts as a raffle entry.

How to enroll

  1. Go to Strive2BFit.com
  2. Click “Login” (top menu)
  3. Enter client code: CITYOFLA
  4. Select “Online-Virtual” or “City Hall East”, then click Next
  5. Click “Enroll Me” for your desired class
  6. Enter your Work Email, Full Name, Department, and Location
  7. Sign the Risk & Liability Release form
  8. Watch for your confirmation email with Zoom details + calendar invite

Prize selection + notifications

  • At month-end, LIVEwell staff will place all eligible participants into a random drawing.
  • Selected participants receive $30 Rewards Cash credited to their Personify Health account.
  • Email updates are sent quarterly to both winners and participants.

Rules & eligibility

  • Winner limit: Eligible to win once every 12 months.
  • 7-day claim window: Winners must create or activate a Personify Health account (if needed) within 7 days so the reward can be issued.
  • Forfeiture: If there is no response within 7 days, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to another participant.
  • Eligibility: Participants must be enrolled in LAwell (City of Los Angeles employee benefits program) to claim a prize.
