Join the Self-Care Awareness Month Challenge!

September is Self-Care Awareness Month! Self–Care Awareness Month is a time to remember the value of taking care of oneself. Self-care is often neglected in our everyday lives. From September 25th through September 29th, you'll see mini self-care activities on the LIVEwell platform. These activities will only be available for 24 hours at a time!

Each day will have a different focus (and varying options for inclusivity), all with your own self-care in mind! You can look forward to: Mobility Monday, Ted Talk Tuesday, Well-Being Wednesday, Treat Yourself Thursday, and Fitness Friday.

Get ready to put a unique spin on "self-care," as you strive to complete all 5 days in a row during this exciting new challenge!

Level Achievement Quarterly Drawings!

September 30, 2023 will mark the end of Q1 of the LIVEwell program. As a reminder, something new to the program this year is Quarterly Level Achievement Drawings. Everyone that has reached level 1 or higher, will be put into a drawing to win additional rewards - one winner per level.

The LIVEwell team is cheering for you, and we encourage you all to try your very best to complete as many activities over the month of September as possible - working your way up the level ladder!

*Note: winners will be excluded from future level achievement drawings.

National Yoga Awareness Month 

The month of September is also National Yoga Awareness Month

Yoga is one of the most ancient practices and continues to be a popular tool for increasing one's well-being. Yoga is a Sanskrit word translated as “yoke” or “union,” which means to draw together, to bind together; or to unite. Its aim is to yoke or create a union of the body, mind, soul, and universal consciousness. This process of uniting the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of ourselves is what allows yogis to experience deep states of freedom, peace, and self-realization.

Check out this activity on the LIVEwell platform: “Yoga: Settle Your Nerves” and complete by 9/24/23 it to receive 75 points!

LIVEwell also offers great virtual classes each month (that may include yoga elements) and all levels are welcomed & encouraged to join! You’ll find the “Stretching Break” on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 p.m., as well as a “Pilates” class on Mondays at 12 p.m.
