The Whole You

“Health” sometimes feels like a bunch of jigsaw puzzle pieces – a disconnected pile of conditions, diagnoses and bits of information. Try taking a step back and reminding yourself that you’re actually a whole person, with all your puzzle pieces belonging together. Your “diet” is not just what you eat, it’s actually the source of your cells, energy, and YOU. Health “conditions” are not just symptoms and problems, they’re important indications of your body’s need for healing and support. This month, try focusing on nurturing the whole person that is you. Be good to yourself in every way you can – through nutritious food, rejuvenating rest, lots of movement, and nurturing connections with others. Turn your puzzle pieces into a healthier picture of you.
