Step into the New Year!

Start the year with fun, friends and fitness by signing up for our 2nd Annual LIVEwell Virtual Team Steps Challenge! Form teams of up to five people to complete a combined one million steps in four weeks. Sound challenging? With teammates cheering you on, there’s no limit to what you can accomplish. All participants earn 100 points for their LIVEwell accounts, a special event medal, and a LIVEwell hydration holder. Special prizes go to the Top 5 teams. Take the first step by joining here! 
The human body was built to move. But how much movement is needed to support good health? According to a publication by Kaiser Permanente, each week we should get in at least 2½ hours of moderate physical activity (e.g., brisk walking) OR 1¼ hours of vigorous physical activity (e.g., running), both preferably spread out over at least three days. Try setting these minimal exercise commitments in 2022, and turn them into a life habit. Click here to learn more. 

Learn About Cervical Cancer and Preventive Practices

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, most cervical cancer is the result of viral infection, so screenings and vaccination can help prevent it.
