The Power of Gratitude and Mindfulness: Transforming Well-being

We often hear about gratitude and mindfulness, but what do these terms really mean? In the midst of life's challenges, such as endless to-do lists, family health issues, or procrastinated projects, it's crucial to adopt well-being practices.

Practicing gratitude means intentionally recognizing the positives in your life, like family, friends, or a partner. This practice can reduce stress, improve sleep, and boost self-esteem. By intentionally focusing on the good, you can positively impact your mental health.

Mindfulness is another effective well-being practice. It helps you navigate tough times with grace, acceptance, and surrender. Being fully aware of the present moment and approaching reality without judgment are key aspects of mindfulness. This includes being conscious of your surroundings, acknowledging your thoughts and emotions, and grounding yourself in the present moment.

  • Work-Life Resources on topics such as parenting, eldercare, legal resources, and financial education.
  • Convenience Services for everyday needs such as travel support, event planning, and finding household service providers.
  • Confidential Counseling Services in areas such as stress management, personal relationships, and substance abuse.
Employees and members of their household can access Support Plus - EFAP representatives anytime – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – toll-free. English- and Spanish-speaking counselors are available.

Level Achievement Quarterly Drawings!

December 31, 2023 will mark the end to Q2 of the LIVEwell program. As a reminder, something new to the program this year is Quarterly Level Achievement Drawings. Everyone that has reached level 1 or higher, will be put into a drawing to win additional rewards - one winner per level.

The LIVEwell team is cheering for you, and we encourage you all to try your very best to complete as many activities over the month of December as possible - working your way up the level ladder - before the raffle in January 2024!

*Note: winners will be excluded from future level achievement drawings.
